Neil celebrates after becoming our 3,500th learner

a West Midlands man is celebrating after becoming the 3,500th learner to qualify with edudo.

the milestone, which was reached when Neil Figgett completed an employability programme with edudo, marks another major achievement in edudo's delivery of high quality learning programmes.

edudo managing director Ronan Smith said: “This is a fantastic achievement for both Neil and edudo. Since setting up the business in 2011, we have exceeded all our growth expectations delivering quality, life-changing learning to thousands of people.

“Neil’s success is a testament to the dedication of our great tutors, who are helping people day-in, day-out to get back into employment or develop their careers. And he made such a great impression on us that we decided to offer him a position helping others to build success at work. I would like to congratulate Neil on being our 3,500th learner.”

Former cleaning services manager Neil, aged 51, completed an employability programme in January before going on to take further qualifications and landing himself a job with edudo as a tutor.

speaking of his achievement, Neil, who hails from Birmingham but now lives in Bolton, said: “It’s great to find out that I am the 3,500th learner to qualify with edudo. I was made redundant last autumn but it has only taken me a few months to get back into work again, thanks to this great team.

“to anybody going through the experience of being unemployed, I can’t recommend edudo enough. They’ve helped me to turn my life around quickly, as their employability programmes teach all the latest techniques to help job hunters secure new positions.”

outside of work Neil is a big sports fan, following rugby, football and motorsports.

in addition to providing entry-level employability programmes, edudo delivers learning in the construction, security, hospitality, logistics, manufacturing, customer care and healthcare sectors to NVQ level 7.
